The Person Behind the Pages

If you've ever found yourself with dirt under your fingernails from gardening, a stack of books on your nightstand, or a craft project taking over your dining room table, there's a good chance we'd get along.

Hello, neighbors! I'm Claire Mrok, the Content Coordinator for Stroll Salisbury & Rosemont, and with this being my third issue, I thought it was finally time to properly introduce myself.

I studied Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Arkansas, and I genuinely love getting to know people and hearing their stories. That's one of the reasons this role feels like such a perfect fit. Every month, I get a front-row seat to the incredible people, families, businesses, and pets that make this community so special.

Outside of work, my husband and I recently celebrated a year and a half of marriage and are currently embracing life with our puppy, Hazel. She has brought plenty of joy, chaos, and chewed-up surprises into our home. When I'm not chasing after her, you'll usually find me enjoying what I affectionately call my "granny hobbies."

Thank you for welcoming me into your community over the past few months. I look forward to continuing to get to know more of you and celebrating the people and moments that make Salisbury & Rosemont such a wonderful place to call home.

Please don't hesitate to reach out! Whether you have a question, a story idea, a neighbor you'd like to nominate for a feature, or simply want to introduce yourself, I'd love to connect. One of my favorite things about neighborhood magazines is discovering the amazing stories right outside our front doors, and I feel incredibly lucky to help share them.

Warmly,

Claire Mrok
