A new year brings fresh starts, and in DC Ranch, “new beginnings” are unfolding in inspiring ways. This month, we’re celebrating the entrepreneurs and families who are adding new energy, creativity, and joy to our community. From two resident-owned businesses—Tomu San Sushi, offering an elevated sushi dining experience, and beem® Light Sauna, bringing wellness to the neighborhood—to the Liu family who were featured last July and later that month welcomed their newest addition, baby Archer, born July 26, these stories remind us that growth and possibility are all around us!

Tomu San Sushi opened last November showcasing an innovative menu that updates daily with the freshest possible ingredients.  Experience modern Japanese cuisine, blending tradition in a serene atmosphere.  "At Tomu San, we don't just serve food, we create a moment - shared, savored, and remembered."  Complementing the food is an extensive beverage program featuring rare Japanese whiskies, hand-selected sake, creative cocktails, and thoughtfully composed zero-proof pairings.  

Baby Archer Liu, born on July 26, 2025, is the newest addition to the Liu family, who were featured as our Meet Your Neighbor spotlight in the July issue of Stroll. His arrival marks a joyful new chapter for the family, adding even more warmth and excitement to their life in DC Ranch.

Beem® Light Sauna celebrated its grand opening on November 15 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, local vendors, healthy bites, raffle prizes, and live music by The Joeys. Designed as a haven for wellness and relaxation, Beem® offers a uniquely revitalizing experience focused on rejuvenation, detoxification, and total mind–body renewal.
