Hi neighbors!! I’m Fiona Furman, contributor of the Kids Corner. This month I’m interviewing Georgia and Anna Leigh Jongenelen. Georgia, Anna Leigh, Case(dad), and Denise(mom), moved here from California in 2020, where Georgia and Anna Leigh were born. Georgia was born in Los Angeles, California and Anna Leigh was born in Orange County, California.

Georgia and Anna Leigh both attend Oakview Elementary, while Georgia is in 3rd grade and Anna Leigh is in 2nd they both get to spend time together in EDP. Georgia and Anna Leigh are both members of Girl Scouts. Georgia is 9 years old and she does softball for Greer softball and her team is called the Texas Volts. She also practices golf at Holly Tree Country Club. In softball she has a medal for winning her first 2 softball games. Anna Leigh plays softball too, and she also does soccer. She plays for Greer Softball too – her team is the Oklahoma Sparks, and she plays for the Purple Panthers at YMCA Soccer. 

Georgia and Anna Leigh have a pitbull named Stella. She loves to play out in the grass in their HUGE backyard and she also likes to sleep. Georgia and Anna Leigh’s parents are Mrs. Denise and Mr. Case. Georgia and Anna Leigh have picked out a fun fact about each parent. Mr. Case’s fun fact is that he makes really good steak and Mrs. Denise’s fun fact is that she is really good at cooking.

Georgia and Anna Leigh have been living in the neighborhood for 6 years and so far their favorite thing about the neighborhood is that there is a pool, very nice neighbors, and tennis courts. Georgia’s favorite vacation that she has been on would definitely be California. Her favorite things to do there are to eat the food and hang out with her cousins. Anna Leigh’s favorite vacation that she has been on is Pawley’s Island. Her favorite thing to do there is to watch the Pirates play.
