Hi neighbors, it’s Fiona back at it again! This month, I’m going to be interviewing my best friend that I’ve known for a very long time… Anne Marie Foss!! I’ve known this family for so long I can’t even remember how we met! The Foss family—Tyler (dad), Rebecca (mom), and Anne Marie—moved here from Carrollton, Georgia, where Anne Marie was born. Anne Marie is 10 years old and is in 4th grade at Oakview Elementary. She is also a member of the chorus club there.

Her dad works for Lear Co. and is one of 17 grandchildren. Her mom works for an adoption attorney, Building Families, and also does a ton of people’s hair in the neighborhood. She is one of 35 grandchildren!

Anne Marie goes to Saint Mary Magdalen Church, and she also plays church basketball there. She even won a trophy for winning the championship! Another sport she does is gymnastics at Greenville Gymnastics Training Center (GGTC). She has won so many medals that no one could ever count all of them! During the summer, she swims on the SFST swim team and has also won so many ribbons that no one could ever count those either!

Anne Marie doesn’t have any siblings, but she does have 4 pets! She has 2 dogs, 1 outdoor cat, and 1 gecko. One of her dogs is named Daisy. She is 7 years old and is a goldendoodle. Daisy LOVES to chew on toys and sunbathe!! Her other dog’s name is Coco. She is 4 years old and is a mini bernedoodle. Coco loves to roll in the grass and eat food.

Anne Marie’s cat’s name is Cuddles. She is 1 year old and is a white cat. Cuddles was adopted from a shelter. She absolutely LOVES to go on the roof, chase things of any kind, and cuddle. The Foss family says she thinks she’s a dog! Their other pet is a fat-tailed leopard gecko named Lilo. Lilo is 10 years old and loves to hang out in her log or cave that they have set up for her.

Anne Marie has lived in the neighborhood for 8 years, and her favorite thing about it is that the people are so nice, respectful, and such good friends. She also loves the neighborhood pool and how kind the lifeguards are.

Anne Marie’s favorite vacation she has ever been on was when she went to Washington, D.C. over spring break. Her favorite part was getting to see the pandas and the White House!
