Happy Neighbors Supporting Happy Feat

We're gearing up for the Happy Feat Classic Car and Bike Show Fundraiser. Whether you’re an auto enthusiast or just enjoying a day of excitement, this event will have something for everyone who appreciates anything on wheels.

Edinburgh resident Reagan Murphy (right) with her River Club resident buddy, Jay Carr.

Resident Reagan Murphy has called Edinburgh home since 2017, and if you have had the chance to meet her, you know she brings a special kind of joy wherever she goes. Reagan is also a proud member of Happy Feat, and she lights up when talking about the friendships she has built and the impact the program has had on her life.

Happy Feat is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting young adults with disabilities through inclusive programs that foster connection, confidence, and meaningful life experiences. At its heart, the mission is simple yet powerful: to create opportunities for the world to see that individuals with disabilities are beautiful, valued, and capable of incredible things.

One of the most exciting ways our community can come together to support this mission is just around the corner. We invite all of Edinburgh to join Reagan, the Murphy family, and friends from HAPPYfeat at the 13th Annual Suwanee Classic Car & Bike Show.

This beloved event will take place on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Suwanee Town Center and will feature up to 180 incredible vehicles, from classic muscle cars and street rods to exotic cars and imports. Guests can also enjoy live music, delicious food and drinks, family-friendly activities, and a variety of vendors offering unique finds for car enthusiasts.

The event is hosted by River Club resident Art Assad and Jeff Wages of A & J’s Classic Cars. Art has a deep passion for both classic cars and his friends at Happy Feat. He visits the program often and never arrives empty-handed, frequently bringing treats for the participants. In fact, he has affectionately earned the nickname “the donut man.”

The support Art brings to Happy Feat is truly immeasurable. While the car show has existed for many years, Art shared that it only became a fundraiser for Happy Feat within the past two years. He recognized an opportunity to transform a beloved community event into a meaningful way to rally support, raise awareness, and generate funds for the program.

From the grateful heart of Happy Feat Founder Lucy Evans:
The Suwanee Classic Car Show is more than just a celebration of incredible vehicles; it’s where horsepower meets heart. This exciting event brings together people who share a passion for cars and a genuine commitment to community outreach.

Every dollar raised directly supports our special needs day program members, creating opportunities for enrichment, personal growth, and meaningful social connections. Through events like this, our members can build new friendships and relationships with others in the community. Many of our supporters understand the importance of inclusive programs like Happy Feat because they know and love someone who benefits from them.

This event is more than a car show; it’s a chance to connect, give back, and make a lasting impact. Together, we’re building a stronger, more inclusive community while celebrating what we love.

Perhaps Lucy's brother (and Reagan's dear friend), Jay, says it best, "I love the car show because I get to meet new people, and spend time with my friends outside of Happyfeat." So come join us! Meet new people, and spend some time with your friends from Happy Feat.
