Our Friday Social Hour gatherings at Jack's Grill at Bear's Best have become something truly special. They are more than just events. They are opportunities for neighbors to connect, celebrate one another, and create meaningful memories right here in Edinburgh.

In May, we gathered for Celebrate Mom, an evening dedicated to the women who strengthen our community. Guests were welcomed by Loremis Lima, founder of Doreimi & Co., and her unforgettable pink MINI Cooper Floral Stand. Yes, it is a real car. Yes, those are real flowers. And yes, they are fresh, beautiful, and locally sourced.

Loremis thoughtfully created grab-and-go floral bouquets for our moms, adding a personal touch that made the evening even more memorable. With acoustic favorites performed by Jake Merritt and hospitality provided by the Bear's Best team, the atmosphere was relaxed, joyful, and full of appreciation.

Loremis is building a dream one flower stem at a time. Through Doreimi & Co., she creates custom bouquets, event florals, flower crowns, wedding arrangements, and mobile pop-up experiences throughout the Atlanta area. June brought another wonderful evening as neighbors gathered for Toast to Dad. Keith Wolfe of Cumming Liquors joined us to lead a bourbon tasting, giving guests the opportunity to sample and learn about a variety of exceptional bourbons while enjoying great company.

Jake Merritt once again provided the soundtrack for the evening as laughter, conversation, and bourbon pours flowed throughout Jack's Grill.

As the saying goes, "Bourbon is best enjoyed with good friends and great stories."

 

Both were in abundance that evening.

There is something special about gathering together to celebrate the people who mean the most to us. Whether sharing flowers with moms, raising a glass to dads, or simply catching up with neighbors, these moments remind us what makes Edinburgh such a remarkable place to call home.
