Celebrating One Year of Rocketship Plumbing and the Heart Behind It

In just one year, Rocketship Plumbing has already made a meaningful impression on the community, thanks to the heart and integrity of its owner, Charles King. As he celebrates his one-year anniversary on May 8, Charles is marking more than a business milestone. He is celebrating a leap of faith years in the making.

Charles wears every hat in the business. As the sole owner, manager, and technician, he is the person answering the phone, arriving at your home, and making sure every job is completed with care. That personal investment is what makes his approach so refreshing.

His journey into plumbing was anything but quick. Charles completed a demanding five-year union apprenticeship, followed by three years to earn his plumbing license and an additional five years to achieve his master license. Plumbing requires dedication, patience, and skill, and those years shaped both his craftsmanship and his values.

Before starting Rocketship Plumbing, Charles worked for larger companies where he often saw homeowners overcharged and underserved. Prices were high, quality was inconsistent, and customers frequently did not understand what they were paying for. That experience inspired him to build something different.

For Charles, being independent means offering transparency, fair pricing, and honest service. He believes homeowners deserve someone who genuinely wants to solve their problem, not someone who wants to sell them something unnecessary.

That honesty extends to educating customers as well. One issue Charles frequently sees is neglected water heater maintenance. Tankless water heaters should be serviced annually, while traditional water heaters should be serviced every other year. Many homeowners are unaware of this, but Charles takes time to explain it because proper maintenance can prevent costly repairs and extend the life of the system.

Rocketship Plumbing specializes in emergency plumbing, underground water and sewer lines, underground gas lines, and water heater maintenance and replacement. These essential systems keep homes functioning safely, and Charles approaches every project with precision and care.

Outside of work, Charles is a proud father of two. His 16-year-old son, Elijah, enjoys computers, while his 7-year-old daughter, Maya, loves gymnastics. Everything Charles is building is rooted in creating a strong future for his family while setting an example of hard work and integrity.

Looking ahead, Charles hopes to grow Rocketship Plumbing thoughtfully by adding team members and additional service trucks while maintaining the same level of customer care. For him, success is not about growing quickly. It is about growing the right way.

In a world where trust matters more than ever, Charles King has built a business centered on honesty, craftsmanship, and genuine care for the people he serves.
