Honest Water

A Personal Mission for Better Water

For best friends and Honest Water of Georgia founders Grant Eilertson and Ben Gower, the importance of what goes in and on the body is not an abstract idea. It's something both families have experienced personally.
Their wives, Amber and Chloe, have each worked through autoimmune challenges over the years. Grant previously faced his own cancer journey, while Ben has dealt with lifelong skin concerns. Those experiences led both families to become more intentional about the products they use, the food and water they consume, and the everyday environmental factors surrounding them.

Water quickly became impossible to overlook.

It's not only what a family drinks. It's what they cook with, bathe in, wash their clothes in, and use throughout the home every day that impacts their health and quality of life.

“We've done the research, but we have also lived the experience,” Grant shared. “Once you understand how often your family comes into contact with water, you realize how important its quality really is.”

Ben and Grant have been best friends for more than 10 years and describe one another as “chosen brothers.” During that decade, they also worked together across multiple business ventures, learning how to operate efficiently, solve problems, and take exceptional care of customers.

When they began researching North Georgia’s water and the companies serving local homeowners, they saw a clear problem that couldn't be ignored. Families wanted better water, but the highest-quality systems were often paired with confusing multi-hour in-home presentations, high-pressure sales tactics, and prices many households could not reasonably justify.

They believed there had to be a better way.

Honest Water of Georgia was created to provide premium whole-home water softening, filtration, and reverse osmosis systems at fair and accessible prices. By operating efficiently and avoiding the expensive sales structures used by many national companies, Grant and Ben can offer systems built with exceptional components for substantially less than homeowners are commonly quoted.

Their Christian faith also shapes the way they approach the business. The principle of loving your neighbor as yourself means offering other families the same quality, care, and premium systems they trust for their own.

“Once we did the research and realized our families deserved better water, we felt a responsibility to help other families get the same systems we trust,” Ben said. “We couldn't find anyone offering this level of quality for even twice what we charge. Providing it at a fair price simply felt like the right thing to do.”

Their excitement about joining Stroll Edinburgh is also personal. Both founders love golf, and Bear’s Best Atlanta has quickly become one of their favorite courses.

“Bear’s Best is appropriately named,” Grant shared. “It is easily one of the best courses we have played. We're grateful to be part of this publication, meet more Edinburgh families, and become a trusted resource for the community, because we believe every family deserves clean water at every tap.”

For Ben and Grant, Honest Water of Georgia is the result of research, personal experience, shared faith, and the belief that every family deserves exceptional water treatment without an unreasonable price.
