Designing More Than Beautiful Spaces

From dream kitchens and custom cabinetry to commercial spaces, Heritage Cabinetry combines personalized service, thoughtful design, and decades of experience to help clients bring their vision to life.

If you've ever tackled a kitchen or bathroom renovation, you know how quickly the options can become overwhelming. That's exactly why Scott Passarella opened Heritage Cabinetry in the Village of Lancaster.
Located on Broadway, Heritage Cabinetry offers cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, and custom storage solutions for kitchens, bathrooms, mudrooms, laundry rooms, closets, fireplace mantels, entertainment centers, and more. Rather than overwhelming clients with endless displays, Scott carefully curates products and personally guides homeowners through every step of the design process.
"I try to simplify everything," Scott says. "When you're making a major investment in your home, you want someone who can help you make confident decisions and make sure everything works together."
That personalized approach is what truly sets Heritage Cabinetry apart. Scott personally handles every project from the initial consultation and design through ordering, contractor coordination, installation planning, and follow-up. Whether homeowners already have a contractor or need recommendations, Scott believes communication is one of the biggest keys to a successful renovation.
"Once you plan it correctly from the beginning, everything goes much more smoothly," he explains.
Scott's background includes estimating, project management, cabinet manufacturing, kitchen and bath design, and commercial millwork, giving him a unique understanding of both the design and construction sides of every project. In addition to helping homeowners create beautiful living spaces, Heritage Cabinetry also works with commercial clients on office build-outs, kitchenettes, ADA-compliant cabinetry, and other custom millwork projects. Recently, the company completed cabinetry and millwork for the new Niagara Power Transformer offices in Cheektowaga under a tight construction schedule, delivering the project on time.
A lifelong Western New Yorker, Scott grew up in Alden before settling in Cheektowaga with his wife, their son, stepdaughter, and rescue puppy, Kona, whom they adopted through Nickel City Canine Rescue. The family even connected with Kona's biological mother through a DNA test, making her rescue story even more special. Away from the showroom, Scott enjoys playing drums with several local bands, often filling in for different groups at parties, festivals, and community events.
As Heritage Cabinetry celebrates its first year in business, Scott is proud of how far the company has come in such a short time.
"If you had told me a year ago we'd accomplish everything we have already, I probably wouldn't have believed you," he says. "I'm proud of what we've built and grateful for all of the support from my family and our clients."
His biggest piece of advice for anyone considering a renovation?
"Plan ahead. The more time you spend planning upfront, the smoother the entire project will be. Setting expectations early makes all the difference."
Whether you're remodeling a kitchen, updating a bathroom, building custom storage, or planning a commercial renovation, Scott's goal remains the same: provide honest guidance, exceptional service, and a finished space that clients will enjoy for years to come.
