Born in Germany to an American Italian military father and a Thai immigrant mother, Dawn was raised in Colorado. In 2013, she followed her heart to Carmel, Indiana, after she married her husband, Scot, on New Year’s Eve in Colorado. Together, they’ve built a home and a life in the Village of WestClay, where they’re raising their son, currently finishing fourth grade at Clay Center Elementary School, while the older 3 kids are out on their own, creating their own life paths!

Dawn's work ethic was forged early on. At just 13 years old, she swept floors in a salon, beginning what would later become a 13-year career as a highly sought-after hairstylist in Denver. When her husband began his career in real estate in 2018, she became interested in the industry as well. They were planning to be a husband and wife team together here in Carmel. While he built his career, Dawn focused on raising their kids and waited for the right moment to enter the business herself.

When Scot went into heart failure in early 2021, Dawn showed remarkable resilience and got to work when Scot physically couldn't. She earned her real estate license, joined Scot at West Clay Realty, and eventually launched Village Estates Realty brokered by eXp Realty Luxury in 2025 on her own, all while caring for her family and supporting her husband through heart failure and heart transplant recovery. Now in her fifth year, she’s consistently been ranked among the top 1% of agents in the Greater Indianapolis area for production. At the beginning of 2025, she welcomed Jane Barretto to her team, who brought her own 12 years of experience and more than 250 closed transactions.

What sets Dawn and Jane apart is their full-circle involvement. "We are personally involved in every stage of the process, whether listing a home or guiding a buyer through a purchase, ensuring consistency, care, and expertise from start to finish," Dawn and Jane explain. While many agents delegate to assistants or coordinators, Dawn and Jane remain hands-on from contracts and inspections to staging, prepping a home for sale, pricing strategy, marketing, coordinating vendors, and closing. For the past 7 years, Dawn has enjoyed the involvement of her monthly STROLL Magazine feature, “Who’s Cookin’ in the Village with Dawn?”, where she highlights a Village neighbor’s favorite recipe, and is now incorporating a favorite craft.
