My name is Lance Magid and I am the owner of Studio Gallery in Waco, Texas. For 57 years, we’ve had the privilege of framing Waco’s treasures, and I’ve personally been part of that journey for over 40 of those years. Waco isn’t just where we do business—it’s home. We’re proud to serve our community and the surrounding areas with craftsmanship you can trust.

Our mission has always been simple: improve the walls of homes and offices one frame at a time, deliver the highest quality custom framing possible, and bring your vision to life with as little stress as possible.

Studio Gallery began with my uncle, Don Magid, an art teacher whose students needed frames for their work. My father, Mike Magid, stepped in to provide those custom frames—and that decision sparked what Studio Gallery is today. What started as a simple need quickly became a lifelong passion and a family legacy.

We handle everything from clean, classic frames for diplomas to fully customized shadow boxes that preserve life’s most meaningful items—whether it’s a family heirloom, a musical instrument, or a wedding dress. If you can name it, we can frame it. Where others may say no, we find a way to say yes—even if it means building custom moulding from scratch to achieve the perfect result.

Every piece we create is built using 100% conservation- and preservation-friendly materials, ensuring your items are protected for generations to come.

We also operate a thriving art installation business, providing professional installation services ranging from a single piece to complete home artwork collections. In addition to artwork, we install large mirrors, drapery, window shades, and taxidermy displays.

For nearly six decades, Studio Gallery has been deeply rooted in the Waco community, building lasting relationships and becoming a trusted name our customers can rely on year after year.

And for the first time since the late 1980s, we’re excited to announce that Studio Gallery will be moving into a new home by 2027. We look forward to welcoming both new and longtime customers into our new space—where the tradition of exceptional framing will continue and where we truly believe framing is an art.
