Clean Water, Clear Purpose
Turning Life Experience into a Mission to Help Families Protect Their Health
When Jill Marye talks about water, she's not just talking about what flows from your tap. She’s talking about how water impacts our health, the presence of environmental contaminants, and the importance of making informed decisions at home.
Through her company, Pure Water Stream, Jill has spent years translating complex research into actionable insights that help families understand exactly what's in their water and what they can do about it. Her journey from online education platform to trusted local consultant reflects a deeper commitment: empowering households to protect what matters most through clean, reliable filtration.
The roots of that commitment run deep. Jill grew up in Manchester, Missouri, with vivid memories of the Flood of 1993 and watching the transformation of Chesterfield Valley. Those early experiences planted an understanding of how land, water, and community intersect. While she later moved to Louisiana, Missouri, Wildwood remains woven into her family story. Her parents built their home in the Wildhorse subdivision, and her sister's family still lives nearby, drawing Jill back often to a place that continues to feel like home.
The path to Pure Water Stream was anything but linear. After launching her first business at 26, Jill spent years refining her leadership skills at companies including Scottrade, AT&T, and a regional dealership group. All the while, her true passion, health and wellness, grew quietly in the background. When she lost her employment in 2020, followed by profound personal losses, including her grandmother, mother, granddaughter, and father, the trajectory became clear.
"What I do today is rooted in both lived experience and a deep commitment to helping others protect what matters most," Jill says.
That commitment crystallized around a simple reality: water touches nearly every aspect of daily life. We drink it, cook with it, bathe in it. Municipal systems treat water for transport, not necessarily for optimal drinking or bathing quality. Private wells, often assumed pristine, can be affected by runoff and environmental contaminants. Legal limits for what's allowed in tap water don't always reflect cumulative, long-term exposure inside the home. Jill began studying filtration technologies not just for marketing claims, but for performance standards and real-world impact.
In 2024, she discovered a residential system originally developed for the dental industry after the inventor's family experienced mercury toxicity exposure during pregnancy. That medical- and dental-grade technology, now adapted for homes and customized to local water conditions, became a cornerstone of the Pure Water Stream product lineup. Today, the company offers whole-home solutions, point-of-use filtration, active hydrogen water systems, and shower filtration, all selected for quality, certifications, and long-term reliability.
What sets Pure Water Stream apart is the consultation process itself. Jill begins every engagement with education, walking clients through their municipal reports or well testing results and helping them interpret what those numbers truly mean. Then she guides them toward the right solution for their specific concerns and budget, whether that's filtering every tap or improving water at a single faucet. She welcomes side-by-side system comparisons and encourages questions. The goal is clarity, not pressure.
Service continues well beyond installation. Jill remains the primary point of contact through system operation, warranty registration, and periodic check-ins during the first year. Moving forward, she provides filter change reminders and ongoing support. Clients have described her approach as refreshingly collaborative, noting that understanding the right questions to ask made all the difference in their confidence and final decision.
Looking ahead, Jill is expanding Pure Water Stream's reach through a new YouTube channel focused on water quality, filtration, and toxin education. She's also developing solutions for homesteaders, off-grid living, and travelers who want access to clean water wherever life takes them. The mission continues to evolve, but the foundation remains: every family, in every zip code, deserves access to water they can trust.
