On any given day, clients stop by XOXO Aesthetics for everything from quick touch-ups to in-depth consultations about skincare goals they've been considering for years. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and personal by design. After visiting larger medical spas where she rarely saw the same provider twice, Owner and Founder Bethanie Halbeisen set out to create a different experience.

"Every time you book an appointment at XOXO Aesthetics, you know who your provider is," Bethanie shares. "We want you to know who is treating you every time you walk through the door so that you receive consistent results."

That philosophy grew from years of working in healthcare, where consistency and attention to detail were essential. Bethanie has been a registered nurse for more than a decade. She earned her associate degree from Terra State Community College, then completed her bachelor's degree at Ohio University, and later earned her master's degree and advanced practice certification through Chamberlain University. She then spent nearly eight years as a traveling nurse, much of that time working in surgical and trauma intensive care. The fast-paced environment demanded focus, quick decision-making, and meticulous attention to detail—qualities she brings to every patient today.

By 2019, Bethanie was ready for a new challenge. Aesthetic medicine offered an opportunity to combine her clinical expertise with a more personal, long-term approach to patient care. As the idea grew, XOXO Aesthetics became a reality. "I am passionate about giving my patients thorough clinical evaluations and providing them with the treatments that make aging easier and fun," she says.

As the business grew, Bethanie remained intentional about keeping it rooted in the local community. She pays attention to where supplies come from, who she partners with, and how her business supports other local businesses. "When you support local, you support the community as a whole," she explains. "The trickle-down effect helps the community as a whole."

Bethanie is especially excited to offer the TriLift system, a non-surgical facial treatment that works across multiple layers of the face without downtime. It's an ideal option for busy clients who want noticeable results without interrupting their schedules. Still, the latest technology isn't what she considers most important. "My client relationships and their happiness following treatments is most important," she says.

Those relationships often extend far beyond the treatment room. Clients refer friends, recommend XOXO Aesthetics to family members, and return year after year. Bethanie enjoys returning that same support by shopping locally and recommending other small businesses whenever she can. That spirit of giving back has become one of the defining characteristics of her practice.

Outside the office, Bethanie and her husband, Kyle, have built a life centered around the outdoors. They enjoy camping on weekends, and when she's home, Bethanie can usually be found tending her herb garden, raised beds filled with fruits and vegetables, and perennial flowers that bloom year after year. "I love planting flowers, especially perennial bulbs that I don't have to plant every year," she says.

She and Kyle are also preparing for an exciting new chapter as they look forward to welcoming their first child in December.

Looking ahead, Bethanie plans to continue growing XOXO Aesthetics the same way she built it, one relationship at a time. Rather than chasing rapid expansion, she's focused on creating a place where every client feels known, heard, and cared for.

If you ask Bethanie what she hopes people remember about her, the answer is simple. She wants to be known as a caring nurse practitioner who helps people feel more confident. Whether she's softening wrinkles, refreshing tired skin, or simply listening to a client's concerns, her goal is the same every day: helping people leave feeling like the very best version of themselves.
