Meet Your Publisher
Jennifer Hewitt
Area Director Jennifer Hewitt is a long-time resident of Hickory, NC. She graduated from Appalachian State University with a BSBA in Marketing. Jennifer has a son, Will (30), a daughter, Maggie (28), a kitty named Tabby, and a lovable pooch, Rocco.
Jennifer and her husband, Kenny McComb, have worked together to publish neighborhood magazines in Catawba County, NC, for the past ten years now, including Stroll Moore's Ferry & Governor's Harbour in Hickory and BeLocal Foothills. Working with amazing local businesses and meeting residents in Moore's Ferry and Governor's Harbour is truly a gift. They are honored to be community historians and storytellers who are connecting people in unique ways.
Jennifer and Kenny love to cook, visit with family and friends, take trips to the beautiful North Carolina mountains, trying local restaurants as often as possible, and connecting local businesses in the foothills.
